Journal Club is for the cool kids with Imposter Syndrome. It's for the raunchy writers, the angry collage artists, the photographers with 3 jobs, the illustrators that haven't slept in days, the angsty poets dying to write and who’d die to be published, the painters with daddy issues, and everyone in-between.
We appreciate that you have high standards, so we want to give you a low-stakes opportunity to showcase your talent.
Mission
Journal Club was created by Chloe Colvard in 2022. Chloe had recently graduated college, and she entered the world of professionals in New York City. Feeling intimidated, she wanted to find a low-sakes, non-pretentious, community-based outlet to get her work out there and to boost others.
So, she created Journal Club.
